Far from the heat of the interior of the Iberian Peninsula in the summer months, with scarce rainfall and asphyxiating temperatures that exceed forty degrees, the high mountain stands as a paradise full of freshness and life. It is the height of the flowering of alpine plants, true botanical relics from the glacial times. From April to October it is possible to find beautiful alpine flowers in the main Spanish mountain massifs, where around 8,000 taxa (species and subspecies) live, which puts us at the head of the Old Continent.
